With sadness, we share the passing of Jacob John Onesti of Hatley, Wisconsin. Jacob, born on May 9, 1988, passed away on October 20, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandfather Johnny Goldsberry; his grandparents-in-law, Norbert, Mary Jane Szews, Edmund and Esther Ostrowski; and his cousin Casey Duginski.
He is survived by: his parents, Jim Onesti and Jenny Onesti (Goldsberry); his wife Becky; his children, Levi and Cain; his brother Josh Onesti (Lindsay); his nieces and nephews, Isaac, Micah and Alyssa Chroge (Kyle); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Danielle and Camery; his parents-in-law, Steven and Annette Szews; his brother-in-law Matt Szews (Katie); his nieces, Olivia, Kayla and Christina Schulist (Darryl); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ava and Ean; his grandparents, Martha Goldsberry, Jerry and Shirley Onesti; his cousin Joey Goldsberry (Melissa); his close friend Matt Alwes; his pets, Gunnar and Boots; Kadyn, Kendra, Keagen, Jessica Ostrowski (Craig), Jadyn, Kylie and Addison.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the St. Florian's Catholic Church (500 Church Ln, Hatley, WI 54499). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made toward Jacob's children's college fund.
