He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Boettcher and Gertrude Boettcher (Fischer); and his sister Dolores Wheaton. He is survived by: his sister Ruth Smith of Pompano Beach, Florida..
In lieu of flowers or monetary contributions, Earl would prefer the planting of bushes, shrubs, and/or trees, especially the species that bear nuts or fruit to benefit wildlife and future generations of mankind.
