She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Ebbole and Josephine Ebbole; her former husband Frank Berring; and her siblings, Jean Hamann, Harold and Robert Ebbole.
She is survived by: her husband Ed of Parkinson's Disease; and her children, Laura Andrews (Rich) of Huntertown, Indiana, Frank Berring (Jessica) of Gretna, Nebraska and Becky Neibert of Hayward, Wisconsin.. She is also survived by grandchildren and one precious great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Spider Lake Church (12104 N Lower Twin Lake Rd, Hayward, WI 54843). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
From their very first date—marked poignantly by Joan's diagnosis with Parkinson's—Ed was a steady companion to her.
