He was predeceased by: his parents, James Jalowitz and Stella Jalowitz (Trush); his son Tony Jalowitz; and his siblings, James Jalowitz and Rosemarie Homesky.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Lou Jalowitz of Hayward; his children, Joseph Jalowitz Jr. (Laura) of Hayward, Deborah LaSavage of Hayward, Cindy Gidley (Carey) of Hayward, Patty Jalowitz of Hayward, Steven Jalowitz of Hayward, Maria MacLaughlin (Jim) of Hayward and Andrew Jalowitz (Debra) of Hayward; and his foster son Bruce Tworek (Kim) of California. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
