She was predeceased by : her parents, Ray W. Doeksen and Frances E. Doeksen (Sawyer); her husband Harlan William Wellnitz; and her siblings, Leanna Callis and Ray Doeksen.

She is survived by : her children, Rev. Karl A. Wellnitz of Ashland, WI and Kathie L. Sheldon (Scott) of Austin, MN; and her grandchildren, Alex L. Sheldon, Elizabeth L. Sheldon and Samantha L. Sheldon. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
