He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Grubbs and Mary Grubbs (Denninger); his son DuWayne Grubbs; and his siblings, Andrew, Gilbert, Earl, George, Howard, Arlan, Leola, Eileen and Marie.

He is survived by: his children, Steven Grubbs (Sue), Darrell Grubbs (Tammy), Russell Grubbs (Lisa), Leslie Grubbs, Daniel Grubbs (Brenda) and Debra (Rodney Piecuch). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
