He is survived by: his wife Huong; his daughters, Thuy Smith (Steve) and Sue Vann (Erick Simola) of Minneapolis, MN; his sisters, Leslie Plechaty (Richard) and Serena Vann; Ly Thi Kinh and Ly Thi Chay. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
