He was predeceased by: his son Mica Friederick (Susan) of Galena, IL; his wife Carol Ann Kupferschmidt of Columbkille's Church; and his siblings, Shirley, Ralph, Joe, Earl, Leo and Donny.
He is survived by: his children, Bart Friederick (Paige) of Cedar Rapids, IA, Leah Gutknecht (Garrett) of Peosta, IA and Tina Loos (Danny) of Dixon, IL; his grandchildren, Logan, Alexa Friederick, Olivia, Ella Friederick, Alysa Pagel (Jeff), Ayden Icenogle (Cody), Rowan Carstensen and Ellis Loos; his great grandchild Kyson Icenogle; his siblings, Kenny Friederick and Esther Kruser (Clete); and his sisters-in-law, Connie Heim (Wayne) of Dubuque, IA and Kay Averkamp (Brad) of East Dubuque, IL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of plants & flowers a Carl R. Friederick Memorial Fund has been established.
