He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Ludwig and Alberta Ludwig (Wallenhorst); his siblings, Carol Vosberg and Ronnie Ludwig; and his sister-in-law Kay Ludwig.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert "Bob" Ludwig of Dickeyville, WI and Jason Ludwig of Hazel Green, WI; the mother of his children Jenny Marshall; his brothers, Marv Ludwig (Phyllis) of Kieler, WI and Larry Ludwig of Dubuque, IA; and his siblings-in-law, Dan Vosberg of Hazel Green, WI and Joanne Ludwig of New Viena, IA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Immaculate Conception Parish Center (3685 County HHH, Kieler, WI 53812). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 12:15 PM at the Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery (3685 County HHH, Kieler, WI 53812).
In lieu of plants and flowers, an Earl A. Ludwig Memorial Fund has been established.
