He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Hayes and Mallie Hayes; his wife Mary Ann Hayes; and his sister Frances Coody. He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Hannah Hayes; and his grandchildren, Grace, Anna and Declan. He is also survived by nieces, a nephew, and other close friends.
His request is for friends and family to purchase bibles through the Gideons International organization in lieu of flowers as this ministry was special to him.
