He was predeceased by: his parents, David Steffes and Marilyn Steffes (Miller); his brother David Steffes; his in-laws, James and Barb Lacke; and his niece Courtney Young.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Steffes; his sons, Jacob of Hazelhurst, WI and Luke (Mya Towne) of Hazelhurst, WI; his sister Debbie Weeks (Weezer) of Sharon, WI; and his siblings-in-law, Karen Carrig (Jack) of Cambridge, WI, Tim Lacke (Denise) of Lindenhurst, IL, David Lacke (Karen) of Shullsburg, WI and Mick Lacke (Chris) of Dodgeville, WI. He is also survived by his family and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be given to the charities of the family's choice; such as Hazelhurst Fire Dept, Glioblastoma Foundation and Aspirus Hospice.
