Virginia Metzdorf Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Metzdorf of Hazelhurst, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 9, 2026, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jaroslav Josifek (Jerry) and Lucille Josifek (Buske); her brothers, Earl, Robert, John and David Josifek; her close friend Storm Carroll; James Kohl.

She is survived by: her siblings, Richard Josifek (Diane), Karen Olson (Vance), Donald Josifek, Kathleen Goodman (Brian) and Janet Josifek; her sisters-in-law, Erma Josifek and Mary Josifek; her aunt Thelma Josifek; and her pet Lacey. She is also survived by four nieces: one nephew: seven grandnieces: two grandnephews: two step nieces and six step nephews, several cousins, many cherished friends and neighbors.
