He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Kraus and Gertrude Kraus (Van); his wife Margaret of Joseph's Catholic Church; his brothers, Aloysius Kraus and Adolph Kraus; and his sisters-in-law, Agnes Kraus and Marian Kraus.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Kraus of Hewitt, WI, Barbara Anderson (Scott) of Minneapolis, MN, Terrence Kraus of Crivitz, WI, Mary Howard (Kevin) of Chetek, WI and Kathleen Braman (Gary) of Verona, WI.; his brother Otto; and his sister-in-law Vicki Kraus of Stoughton, WI. He is also survived by his five children, eight grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
