He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Kroll and Theresa Kroll (Eiling); his wife Ann Reynolds; his children, David and Theresa; and his siblings, Lucille Volenec (Arnold), Cletus (Betty), Earl (Virginia), Kathryn Papierniak (Leon) and Louie (Marion).

He is survived by: his children, Daniel Kroll, Pat Kroll (Barb), Brenda Knutson (Jerry Schwandt), Bruce Kroll (Caroline) and James Kroll (Jackie); his grandchildren, Jason Kroll (Lizi), Stephanie Kroll (Daniel), Brittany Knutson (Jessie Weibel), Amanda Knutson (Josh Landeau), Benjamin Kroll (Amanda), Nick Kroll, Hannah Kroll (Alex Teixeira) and DeAnne Spalla (Mike); and his great grandchildren, Nora Kroll, Aaliyah Facen, Aria, Elowyn, Lief Weibel, Owen, Cameron Kroll, Landon and Hudson Spalla.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Upland Hills Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
