She was predeceased by: her parents, Clemens Probst and Crescentia Probst (Bauer); her husband Kenneth Kempen; her son David Kempen; her brothers, Vernon, Arlyn, Ralph and Leon Probst; her parents-in-law, Henry and Leona Kempen; and her siblings-in-law, Melvin, Robert Kempen and Karen Probst.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Cady (David) of El Dorado Hills, California, Wes Kempen (Michelle) of Brillion, Stan Kempen (Reneé) of Brillion and Lisa Kocourek (Joseph) of Brillion; her grandchildren, Ryan (Madison) and Erin Cady; her great grandchildren, Ian Voskuil, Aidan, Alek, Everette Mandel, Gabby Ledvina, Grifynn and Oliver Kempen; her brother Allen Probst; and her sister-in-law Nancy Probst. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A prayer will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Pielhop Funeral Home (215 S Main St, Brillion, WI 54110). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (115 Plymouth St, Plymouth, WI 53073).
