He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Ertel and Shirley Ertel (Lewig); his wife Doris Olson; his children, Jason Ertel (Tanja), Jarrod Ertel (Dawn), Jocelynn Wilson (Jeff), Helena Hornborg and Baktygul Kadyralieva; his grandchildren, Kailey, Bowyn, Bryn, Gavin, Xavien, Justin, Christopher, Karolin and Jasmine; his brother John Ertel (Gail); his stepbrother Terry Sime (Kathy); Shirley Carr. He was also cherished by many other relatives and friends.
