It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Shanahan of Hillpoint, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 2, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Thomas Shanahan to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph M. Shanahan and Frances M. Shanahan (Pikel); his grandson David Thompson; his brothers, Vincent (Barbara) and Leo (Mary); and his brothers-in-law, Paul Beardsley and William Holtz.

He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Petersen; his children, Catherine Thompson (Gary) of Pewaukee, Thomas J. Shanahan (Christine) of Oconomowoc and Karen Bauer (John) of New Berlin; his grandchildren, Joseph Thompson (Ashlee), Megan, Nicole Shanahan, Brooke and Jordan Bauer; his great grandchildren, Eleanore "Ellie", Annabelle and Audrey Thompson; and his siblings, Patricia Beardsley of Milwaukee, James Shanahan of Memphis, TN, Mary Holtz of Reedsburg, Bernard Shanahan (Dorothy) of Plain and Agnes Schutz (Eugene) of Reedsburg. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or Agrace Hospice.
