She was predeceased by: her parents, Leila Smith and Gerald Smith; her husband Lyall Langer; and her siblings, Karol Dowling (Ron) and Jerry Smith (Ellie).
She is survived by: her children, Mark L. "Augie" Langer (Julie) and Kim K. Garman (Duane); her grandchildren, Cody, Tyler, Samantha and Lacy (Nick); her great grandchildren, Taylor, Talan, Jr., Aubrey, Tenley, Hayes, Quinn and Wyatt; and her brothers, Robert Smith and David Smith (Jane).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Chasing Daylight Animal Shelter in Tomah, WI — a cause close to Karen's heart.
