We announce the death of Neva Joan Raese of Hillsboro, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 24, 2026, at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Jones II and Neva Jones (Straight); her daughter Linda Van Pool; her stepfathers, Harry Nelson and Phil James; her brother Lewis Jones III; her siblings-in-law, Dorothy, Mildred Jones, Charlotte, Maxine, Sandy Raese, William Raese and Ronald Carter; and her stepsiblings, Louis Nelson, Howard, Bill James, Lois Bartals, Marieta Fleek and Dolores James.

She is survived by: her husband Wayne Harold Raese of Wonewoc; her sons, James Raese (Sally) of Wonewoc, Dan Raese (Julie) of Janesville and Larry Raese (Maryanne) of McFarland; her grandchildren, Patrick Raese, Kristopher Schoonover (Shelly), Tara Raese, Jessica Wilson (Levi), Joseph Raese (Erika), Billy Press, Lisa Waldhart (Jeff), Tyler Raese (Holly) and Lauren Tambling (Cole); her brothers, Phillip Jones of Tomah, Noel Jones (Donna) of Why, AZ and David Jones (Donnette) of Elroy; her half-brother Harry Nelson (Cindy) of Tomah; her sisters-in-law, Joanne Jones of Camp Douglas and Carol Carter of Mauston; and her stepbrother Marlyn James (Charlene). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Grace Community Church.
