He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Hora and Bessie Hora (Holak); and his siblings-in-law, Paul Stekel, Paul Harris, Richard Jindrick and Jackie Stekel.

He is survived by: his wife Velma Stekel of Joseph's Catholic Church; his children, John Hora (Bobbi Jo), Diane Stockwell (Mike), Matt Hora (Erin) and Tom Hora (Lisa); his grandchildren, Brittany Kuester (Shawn), Nick Hora (Jenna), Nate Hora, Jake Stockwell (Shelly), Max Stockwell (Kelsey), Grace Stockwell, Greg Hora, Andrew Hora, Allison Hora and Madelyn Hora; his great grandchildren, Karson, Axton, Eden Kuester, Sophia, Mallory, Colby Stockwell and Vivian Stockwell; his siblings, Evelyn Jindrick, Don Hora (Jeanne), Ed Hora (Donna) and Rosemary Stanek (Leonard); and his in-laws, Caroline Stekel, Jim Stekel, JoAnn, Bill Filler, Ellen, Jerry Stark, Rita Harris and Jerome Stekel. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
