He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Halvorson and Gladys Halvorson (Rumpel); and his brothers, Steven, Marc and Elroy Halvorson.
He is survived by: his significant other Carol Bergstrom; his children, Deb Bakken (Dan) of Ettrick, Barb Lynch (Joe) of Chippewa Falls, Luke Halvorson of Merrillan and Zach Halvorson of Humbird; his siblings, Rita Halvorson, Raye Chandler (Richard), Gwyn Halvorson (Nickie) and John Halvorson (Lois); his grandchildren, Jordan, Jasmin, Rachel, Nathan, Hannah, Alyssa, Mason, Victoria and Michael; and his great grandchildren, Bricen, Tenleigh, Emmalynn, Alice and Warren. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jensen-Modjeski Funeral Home (128 S Hoffman St, Hixton, WI 54635). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
