We are sad to announce that, on May 9, 2026, Douglas Waite of Holmen, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Douglas farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Douglas is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Waite and Isabelle Waite (Thurston); his son Troy Waite; and his brother Dwaine Waite. He is survived by: his wife Linda L. Waite (McConnell); his children, Teresa Pfaff (Tim) of Mindoro, Scott Waite (Sarah) of La Crosse and Todd Waite Melrose (Pamela); his brother Richard Waite of Sparta; and his pet Gracie. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
