She was predeceased by: her husband Cliff Gilbertson; her parents, Oscar Holter and Lydia Holter; and her siblings, Trygve Holter (Carol), Carsten Holter, Carol Timm (Gale), Lois West (Tom) and Janice.

She is survived by: her children, Chuck Gilbertson (Debo) of La Crosse, WI, Laura Bertsche (Tim) of Morton, IL and Mark Gilbertson (Kim) of Duluth, MN; her grandchildren, David Bertsche (Linda), Mika Bertsche, Erik Bertsche, Max Gilbertson (Katerine), Ben Gilbertson (Kayla) and Stephanie Gilbertson; and her sisters-in-law, Judith Holter, Arlone McCabe and Sherry Gilbertson. She is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hills Lutheran Church (1215 Redwood St, Onalaska, WI 54650). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM and at 12:00 PM.
