He was predeceased by : his parents, Norman Aspenson and Lydia Aspenson (Uglum); his siblings, Ethel Mae Aspenson and Virgil Aspenson; his sister-in-law Esther Aspenson; his parents-in-law, Lawrence and Bernadette Brown (Flynn); and his siblings-in-law, Albert Brown, Larry Brown, Shirley Brown and Harriett Arnold.

He is survived by : his spouse Bernadetta Brown; his sons, Jesse Aspenson (Gayle) and Rollie Aspenson (Donna); his grandchildren, Kelsey Kleven (Brad), Kevin Aspenson (Kali), Kristine Pettis (Devin) and Jennifer Ike (Tyler); his great grandchildren, Dylen, Cooper, Blake and Graham; his siblings, Konnie Kvigne (Alvin) and Raymond Aspenson (Ann); and his sisters-in-law, June Jenkins (Jack) and Shari Brown. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lakeview Health Center or the Utica Lutheran Church Cemetery Association.
