He was predeceased by : his parents, Hugo Carley and Madeline Carley (Schreiner) of Dodgeville, WI.; his son Scott Philip; his stepfather Milton Wiesen (Kirby); his siblings, Linda Wiesen-Schaaf and Doug Carley; his in-laws, Harold and LaVon Edge; and his brother-in-law Mark Greenwood.

He is survived by : his wife Janet Edge; and his sons, Christopher Onalaska (Angie), Jeffrey Windsor (Sue Haberkorn) and Aaron Holmen (Andrea).

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, February 21st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery (1 University Plaza, Platteville, WI 53818).
