She is survived by: her children, David Spencer (Deb Bauer), Lara Hines (Jim) and Linda Bena (Tim Smaby); and her grandchildren, Amanda Spencer, Jessica Spencer, Jacob Hines (Brooke), Bailey Hines and Brock Bena. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to Holmen Lutheran Church in Ruth's name.
