He was predeceased by: his parents, Erwin Hoppmann and Marie Hoppmann (Thielker); his wife Marilyn Stuckenschmidt of John's Lutheran Church; and his siblings, Marian Berg (Hilbert) and Dale Hoppmann (Joyce).
He is survived by: his children, Ann Berg (Brian) of Bangor, John Hoppmann of Woodbury, Minn, Mary Sorenson (Richard) of La Crosse and Susan Gollnik (Bradley) of West Salem; his grandsons, Justin Berg of Bangor and Joshua Berg of Fitchburg, Wis.; and his brother Daniel Hoppmann (Kathy) of Elgin, Ill.. He is also survived by one niece; nephews; other relatives; and friends.
Should friends and family wish to honor Wayne's memory, in lieu of flowers memorials in Wayne's honor may be directed to St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church-just as he would have wanted.
