It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William G. Walsh of Holmen, Wisconsin, born in Baraboo, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 8, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Harold J. Walsh and Cecilia Walsh (Leece); his wife Lois Treptow; his siblings, James Harold Walsh and Mary Elizabeth Marquardt; and his brother-in-law James Shortreed.

He is survived by : his daughters, Jennifer Spencer (Timothy) of Holmen and Rachel Walsh of Black River; his stepdaughters, Stephanie Hady (Michael) of Mt. Auburn, IL and Angela Treptow-Voiss of Verona; his grandchildren, Xavier Puzon, Aaron, Ryan Spencer, Marisol of Montana, Chandler, Makayla Hady, Loren Voiss and Grayson Hady; and his sister Helen Shortreed of Portage. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Farber Funeral Home (2000 Viking Dr, Reedsburg, WI 53959). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorials of remembrance may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
