He was predeceased by: his parents, Alois Schumacher and Eldred Schumacher; his stepmother Betty Freeman-Schumacher; his parents-in-law, Tony and Helen Westimayer; and his brothers-in-law, Tom Westimayer and Greg Kloida.
He is survived by: his wife Susie; his children, Jason Schumacher (Andrea) of Waupun and Jennifer Dietz (James) of Beaver Dam; his granddaughter Avery; his siblings, Perkie Kloida, Deanna Butler and Bob Schumacher (Jill); and his siblings-in-law, Dave Westimayer (Jane), Barb Keach (Dale), Tony Westimayer (Mary Kay), Pat Spettel (Gary Klein), Sandy Franke (Randy), Mike Westimayer (Jodie), Jon Westimayer (Liz) and Kathy Elford (Wes). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, any donations that are given to the family will be put toward getting youth into the outdoors and interested in hunting and fishing.
