He is survived by: his father Lyle Maas; his wife Tonya (Tribbett); his children, Tyler Maas (Rachel Bernhard) and Chelsea Stindt (Matt); his stepchildren, Derek Fjelstad and Haley Klein (Dan); his grandchildren, Dana, Trenton and Charlie; and his siblings, Julie Mueller (Tom), Kelly Behnke (Popper), Paul Maas and Jackie Brettingen (Mark). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
