He was predeceased by : his parents, Elfriede Helm and Werner Helm; his sister-in-law Ann Berger; and his nephew Matthew Moersch. He is survived by : his wife Marianne; his daughters, Lisa Stubbe (Chris) and Allison Schramm (Jeremy); his grandsons, Benjamin, Lucas Stubbe, Landon and Parker Schramm; his sister Evelyn Grasse (Tim); and his siblings-in-law, Jeanne Moersch (Jim), Patti Berger, Rosanne Fischer (Ron) and Frank Berger (Gary Silva). He is also survived by his friends and family.

Memorial funds given in his name will establish an enduring garden in his community.
