It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evangelina Schelk of Howards Grove, Wisconsin, born in San Antonio, Texas, who passed away on December 11, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Juan Silva and Guadalupe Silva (Maroquin); her husband Vernon Schelk; her granddaughter Hailey; her daughter-in-law Karen Schelk; and her siblings, Sandra Gomez (Sal), Sophie Shives (David), Janie DeLeon and Pete Silva.
She is survived by : her children, John Schelk (Shelly Nigro-Struve), Eva Weimann (Dale) and Andrew Schelk (Renee Reimer); her grandchildren, Marshall Fox, Walker Forton (Melanie), Megan Goetsch (Jamey) and Erin Yinko (Reid); her great grandchildren, Noah, Rayn, Ashton, Evelyn and Rhett; and her sister-in-law Donna Mae Schelk. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Angie's name.
