He is survived by: his children, Baron Amweg (Tracy) of Elkhart Lake and Shawn Jensen (Brian) of Hawthorn Woods, IL; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Schodron (Tom) of Adell, Elyssa Gutschow (Brad) of Kiel, Cassandra and Harrison Jensen of Chicago, IL; his brother Eric Amweg (Denise) of Hazel Green, WI; and his siblings-in-law, David Gilles (Klaudia) of Glenbeulah, Brian Gilles (Haley) of Plymouth and Beverly Dippel (David) of Plymouth. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Camo Quilt Project in memory of George.
