Maris L. Gumtow Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maris L. Gumtow of Howards Grove, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 24, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Marcus and Annette Marcus; her children, Steven and Rebecca Gumtow Allen; and her siblings, Larry Marcus and Sandra Booth.
She is survived by: her husband Gene of Sheboygan Falls; her children, David Gumtow (Michelle) of Amberg, Jon Gumtow (Liz) of Neenah and Sherryl Herr (Mark) of Elkhart Lake; her grandchildren, Josh Gumtow (Jeanna), Jared Gumtow, Jenny Gumtow (Kim Grunewald), Bradley Gumtow and Andrew Gumtow; her great grandchildren, Peyton, Brayden, Lauren, Jasmine, Emma, Zander and Brenna; and her siblings-in-law, Dan Gumtow (Sharon Bub), Roger Gumtow (Carol) and Cathy Newago. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Maris's name.
