He was predeceased by : his father Edward Francis Potts. He is survived by : his wife Heidi Rasmussen Potts; his sons, Eric Potts (Holly) of Mequon, WI and Nicholas Potts (Aaron Wile) of Washington, DC; his grandsons, Dylan and Gibson Potts; and his siblings, Judith Sierocuk (Keith), Sharon Eichhorn (Michael), Sandra Egan (Dennis) and Michael Potts (Patricia). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; a very large extended family; and a deep network of close friends.

In lieu of flowers, Greg requested that memorial donations be directed toward St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
