It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Aras of Hudson, Wisconsin, born in Trail City, South Dakota, who passed away on August 8, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Mastel and Frances Mastel (Silbernagel); her son David Shank; and her siblings, Adolf Mastel, Helen Rengel and Mary Ann Schmidt.

She is survived by: her husband Thomas Aras; her son Jerry Shank (Marusia); her grandchildren, Jerry Jr. and David Shank; and her siblings, Eileen Tetu, Alvina Pheneger and John Mastel. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
