With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Catherine Lydia Hawk of Hudson, Wisconsin, born in Brooklyn, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 19, 2026 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Catherine may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Catherine touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Carlson and Mary Carlson (Buckley); her brothers, Joseph W. and George F. Carlson; her former husband Joseph M. Dowd; her husband Donald C. Hawk, Sr.; and her stepson Steve Hawk.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Judith Carlson (Joe) of Hudson, WI. She is also survived by four nieces and nephews; five stepchildren; and many great‑nieces and great-nephews, step‑grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.
