He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Bye-Nelson (Holmen) and Clarence M. Bye; and his grandchild Dotty. He is survived by: his wife Diane "Dotty" Olson; his children, Chris, Karyn and Kjellrun; his family, Dotty Bye of Sanibel, FL, Chris Bye of River Falls, WI, Karyn Bye, Tatum, Brody Dietz of Hudson, WI, Kjellrun Olson (Luke), Ana, Karl Olson of Champaign, IL and Kally; and his siblings-in-law, Sally Hagen of Tulsa, OK, Wayne Olson (Connie) of Chetek, WI and Lon Olson (Kayo) of Manchaca, TX. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
