He was predeceased by: his parents, George Rivard and Virginia Rivard (Menefee); his brothers, Neil, Steve, George and Gerald Rivard; and his son-in-law Andreas Schoene.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine Rivard of Hudson's Fourth; his daughter Rebecca Gustafson (Randy); his grandchildren, Aryan Schoene and Annita Schoene; and his siblings, Charles Rivard (Margaret) and Kathie Lyons.
