It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Paul Akerley of Hudson, Wisconsin, born in Manchester, New Hampshire, who passed away on December 18, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Akerley and Helen Akerley; and his sister Susan Jones (Harry Jones). He is survived by: his wife Colleen Doran Akerley; his siblings, Robert Akerley (Carol Steen) and Nancy Akerley (Tom Treiman); his nieces and nephews, Meredith Akerley, Dr. Samantha Akerley, Dr. Alice Jones, Greg Treiman and Brahm Treiman; his sons, Christopher Akerley and Daniel Akerley; and his former wife Margaret.
