He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Gust and Evelyn Gust. He is survived by: his sister Annie Gust (Gary L. Ferguson); his partner Sandy Gehrmann; his partner's children, Mike Kittel (Carson Kreitzer), Kathy Kittel and Kris Thomas; and also, Alisha (Ben), Liz (Lucas), Shane (Taylor), Rachel, Jacob and Josh. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
