He was predeceased by : his parents, Margaret Eral and Albert Eral; his wife Barbara; his brothers, Tom, Mike, Dan and Jerry Eral; and his great grandchild Maisyn Morin.

He is survived by : his sons, John Eral (Jennie) and Joe Eral (Michelle); his stepson Mike; his grandchildren, Carissa Morin (Matt), Jake Bourassa, Colin (Sarah), Cooper, Noah and Sophie Eral; his great grandchildren, Beau and Banks Morin; and his siblings, Bill (Peggy), Gene Eral and Linda Genz (George).
