It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Duwell (Hudson, Wisconsin), born in West Branch, Iowa, who passed away on June 11, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Cecil Pilkington and Florence Pilkington; her children, Rebecca Spilich (George), John Duwell (Lynn), Sarah Duwell and Eric Duwell (Janell); her grandchildren, George (Michelle), Matthew (Tara), Lindsay (Ryan), Joanne (Patrick), Megan (Paul), Katelyn (Peter), Andrew (Brittany), Erin, Ethan (Claire), Michael and Elise (Justin); and her great grandchildren, Maya, Ella, Madeline, Sophie, Isla, Henry, John, Rosemary, Theodore, Lucy, Wallace, Harper, Samuel, Colton, Jackson, Callie, Judah, Emelia, Oliver and Aidan.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Ernest and Joan Duwell Hudson YMCA Endowment Fund.
