He was predeceased by: his parents, William Steffen and Goldie Steffen (Cox); his wife Kathleen (Gaffney); his sisters, Donna Elliott (Lee) and Gloria Thill; and his sister-in-law Alvina Steffen.
He is survived by: his children, Jamie Kleiner (Patrick), Michael Steffen (Pam) and Thomas Steffen; his grandchildren, Kourtney (Galen), Jake (Nicole), Sami (Megan), Charlie, Jason (Andrea), Jessica (Hilary), Benjamin (Gabrielle) and Kylie (Cody); his great grandchildren, Gavin, Logan, Rylynn, Emmitt, Miles, Alexys, Elyse, Jonathan and Teagen; and his brothers, Melvin Steffen and Larry Steffen (Karen).
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Bakken-Young Funeral & Cremation Services (805 E Division St, River Falls, WI 54022). A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to Ascension Church in Stillwater or The American Cancer Society Pierce County.
