He is survived by : his parents, Michael Balfanz (Susan) and Audrey Seidling (Anderson); his wife Melanie Lowell; his close friend Cara Rubis; his children, Jamie Balfanz and Ashley Balfanz (Charles Okray); his siblings, Jeremy Balfanz, Michael Balfanz and Emma Balfanz; his stepsisters, Tonya and Kelley; his nieces and nephews, Austin, Avaya, Ian and Parker; and his grandmother Donna Froelich.
