She was predeceased by: her parents, James Gaffney (Ed) and Lucille Gaffney (Oldham); and her sister Carol Tornio (Kenny). She is survived by: her husband John Steffen; her children, Jamie Kleiner (Patrick), Michael Steffen (Pam) and Thomas Steffen; her grandchildren, Kourtney (Galen), Jake (Nicole), Sami (Megan), Charlie, Jason (Andrea), Jessica (Hilary), Benjamin (Gabrielle) and Kylie (Cody); and her great grandchildren, Gavin, Logan, Rylynn, Emmitt, Miles, Alexys, Elyse, Jonathan and Teagen.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the River Falls Public Library or Ascension Episcopal Church, 214 3rd St North, Stillwater, Minnesota.
