It is with great sadness that we announce the death of LaVonne Marie McCombie of Hudson, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 26, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint LaVonne leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert J. Obermueller and Rosella Obermueller (Strehlo). She is survived by: her children, Michael, Joseph, Peter Meulemans, Marianne Recend, Julie Cole and Jacquelyn Globke; and her stepsons, Thomas III and Michael McCombie. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, 2 adopted granddaughters, 12 great grandchildren, 3 step great grandchildren, and 2 great-great step grandchildren.
