He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret MacKay and Dr. Kenneth Malvey; his wife Virginia "Ginny" Malvey; and his siblings, Kenneth A. Malvey, Eleanor Chamberlain and Marion Lawley.
He is survived by: his son Ken Malvey (Deanna); his granddaughter Hannah (Alex Colbeck); his sister-in-law Marit Malvey; his stepgrandchildren, Elsie and Fiona Montgomery; and his pet Cooper. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Malvey Family Foundation or Oak Creek Cemetery.
