Richard Earl Bennett Obituary
The memory of Richard Earl Bennett of Hudson, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 1, 2025 at the age of 84, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Bennett and Marian Bennett. He is survived by: his wife Mary Bennett; his children, Gregg Bennett (Diane), Eric Bennett (Donna) and Heidi Bennett Cooper (Chet); his brothers, Dean Bennett (Pat) and Jim Bennett (Nancee); and his siblings-in-law, Ralph DeRoy, Jerry Wilkens, Carol Bouvin and Kathy Stohl. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and many, many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Valley Lutheran Church (14107 Hudson Rd S, Afton, MN 55001).
Dick was an active and dedicated volunteer, serving for many years with the Hudson Area Backpack Program, PO Box 491, Hudson, WI 54016, to which memorial donations would be appreciated.
