He was predeceased by : his parents, Leonard Beer and Esther Beer (Pabst); his wife Philippine "Phyl" Beer (Meixner); and his daughter-in-law Kim Beer. He is survived by : his children, Dan Beer, Laurie Collova (Pat) and Jeff Beer (Jean); his grandchildren, Charlie Beer (Erin), Ryan Beer (MacKenzie), Nicholas Olsen (Chelsea), Michael Olsen (Caitlin), Martin Collova (Carrie), Marcy Collova (Josh) and Marlon Collova; his great grandchildren, Clara, Wynn, August, Elliott, Martin, Sam, Lola, Hunter, Berlyn, Chloe, George and Oliver; his brother Ronald Beer (Linda); and his brother-in-law Don Meixner (Linda). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Redeemer Lutheran Church (1097 Scott Rd, Burkhardt, WI 54016). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Croix Health Center (1097 Scott R., Burkhardt, WI 54016).
